POPLAR GROVE WINERY

Naramata Bench, British Columbia

Poplar Grove Winery is located on the slopes of the Naramata Bench, a premier wine growing area just outside Penticton, British Columbia.  One of the original 5 wineries on the Naramata Bench, Poplar Grove was founded in 1993 when Ian Sutherland dedicated 2.5 acres of land to the planting of Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes. The first vintage was released in the fall of 1995, with the Poplar Grove Cabernet Franc receiving top honours at the Okanagan International Wine Festival. Poplar Grove is focused on six core wines: Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and a signature blend called The Legacy.

LAUGHING STOCK VINEYARDS

Naramata Bench, British Columbia

Originally in the investment industry, Laughing Stock founders David and Cynthia Enns gave up their previous careers for a new pursuit based on their love of good wine. They purchased their Naramata Bench property in 2003, moved to Penticton and built the winery of their dreams, where they currently produce 5,000 cases of wine each year. They have now completed their 10th vintage, and their passion remains strong while the already very good wines keep getting better and better.

STONEBOAT VINEYARDS

Lower Black Sage Bench, British Columbia

Stoneboat is entirely family owned and operated. The Martiniuk family guide the entire winegrowing cycle from growing their own vines and cuttings, seeing the vines through harvest and making their wines from their fruit. They focus on careful stewardship of their land to maintain a balanced and healthy environment for the vines, which results in balance and complexity in their wines.
